Parker Racing YX140 Type R Edition Engine - Gen 4

The Type R engine is unique to our company. We take a standard engine and rebuild it to a higher Standard which we believe will improve the lifespan of the engine.
 
All the work carried out on these engines are within the Stock 140 Rules and Regulations in the British Championships.
 
We advise to run our engines with a Genuine VM26 Mikuni Carb and also for best performance to be set up on a dyno as the flywheel is adjustable.

Type R Edition Specification:
YX140 GEN 4 Engine Hand built in house by us to our specs & tolerances.
SKF Gearbox bearings fitted, & float shimming adjusted.
Road race gearbox fitted with longer 1st gear & 2nd gear ratios.
Upgraded 3 point shift forks fitted.
Race valve set fitted, this provides an improved gas flow angle on the valve head.
Race valve stem oil seals fitted, these have 2 springs to ensure a good quality seal & lubrication.
Race valve spring set fitted, this apply the correct valve seating preassure allowing the engine to rev to a higher RPM.
D.I.D Uprated timing chain. 
Acetal upgraded timing chain tensioner cap.
Stainless steel magnetic sump plug fitted.
CR8 Spark plug fitted for higher compression mixture.
Race head gasket fitted.
Racing camshaft fitted with longer valve duration timing and 7mm lift - USA.
CNC Gear shift arm support unit, provides smoother gear changes and reduces damage in a crash.
Putoline oil used and High Flow oil filter.
Adjustable race ignition fitted with digital loom & CDI.
Stainless Steel Cap bolts with torque grease used to ensure correct torque settings are achieved.
Modified crank casing to ensure smoother gear selection. 
Exhaust gasket included.

1st = 34/13 (Ratio 2.61)
2nd = 29/17 (Ratio 1.70)
3rd = 23/17 (Ratio 1.35)
4th = 21/20 (Ratio 1.05)
 
Standard Gearbox Ratio (Counter/Main):
1st = 36/11 (Ratio 3.27) 
2nd = 31/16 (Ratio 1.93)
3rd = 23/17 (Ratio 1.35)
4th = 21/20 (Ratio 1.05)

Please Note:
This is a race built engine, there is no warrentee on race products. 
This engine must be used with a MIKUNI VM26 665 Carb with jetting guide 130/135 main jet and a 27.5 pilot jet.
There is no decompressor fitted to the camshaft so the customer must take care when starting the engine by finding TDC before kicking and not twisting the throttle.
